IPS ensures product quality through:
  • Owner / Senior Director contact in Strategic Suppliers
  • Own experienced resource to monitor product quality
  • Own supplier selection / sampling / product quality processes
  • Competing approved supply base for each product group
  • External testing equipment to evaluate quality
  • Occasional use of external QC companies
  • IPS Suzhou facility kitting / fulfillment / testing
IPS suppliers have ISO 9000. Increasing number have ISO 14000 and OHSAS-18001

Environment:

  • No restricted materials including lead, mercury
  • No hazardous materials including some PVC types
  • No use of ozone depleting substances eg CFC gasses
IPS works with Climate Bridge to calculate and reducing the carbon cost of packaging
IPS identifies packaging material recyclability using international standard logos
IPS Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Environmental Responsibility policy
